COMING THIS FALL:
CCLO’s 2010
Young Adult Ensemble
Young Adult Ensemble (YAE) is a Conservatory-like intermediary program between Educational Theatre and the professional stage. The process and expectations are similar to what a performer would experience in the “real world:” environment is highly professional and cast members work and learn at a more rapid pace. However, we maintain our ensemble philosophy, de-emphasizing the negative aspects of competition, and emphasizing collaboration, energy, teamwork and trust – important components of successful rehearsal and performance.
By challenging our students to reach beyond their current artistic and personal capabilities, ensuring audition-preparedness and promoting proper theatre etiquette, YAE students gain a deeper understanding of what it takes to succeed in the theatrical world. Our Company members have been accepted into prestigious Universities and Conservatories, and have been cast with a variety of theatre companies and recognized performers across the country. YAE alumni are working professionally “behind the scenes,” as well.
Rehearsals and classes are scheduled to accommodate participants’ school and work commitments.
YAE is for the disciplined student who is looking to challenge his/her proficiency in musical theatre and acting, grow as a performer and a person, and practice his/her theatrical passions.
